9/1    Delran Parade When my sister told me Delran was going to be throwing me a parade I had know idea it was going to involved a couple thousand people.  It was unbelievable.  I was so excited to be able to ride on top of the fire truck and wave to everyone.  I was up there for a couple miles and was excited to see all the familiar and new faces in the crowd.  It was a beautiful day.  The ceremony was sensational and all of the speakers did a wonderful job.  I couldn’t believe the amount of people that attended the ceremony.  I want to thank everyone who supported this special day and for all of the Delran Business Associations, the Mayor and Town Council, my parents, my family and friends and everyone who helped coordinate the parade.  This truly was a special day and I will never forget it.  Pictures

8/25   Airport What a welcoming I had at the Philadelphia airport with family, friends and news channels.  Even though I was extremely tired it was a very nice surprise to see everyone especially since it had been a month since I was last home.  I showed everyone my medal, had interviews and got to see my boyfriend and family.  We hung out for a little while in the airport and then had a party bus back to my house with my close family and friends.  It was good to be home and it was also very exciting that I brought the gold medal home.  Everyone was proud.  Thank you all for coming out and welcoming me home!  Click for Airport Pictures
