We played Brazil again today and today is my birthday.  We beat Brazil 1-0, another late goal.  I assisted a great header by Kai today.  It was a great hard fought battle.  It was extremely unfortunate that Abby went down and is out now with a broken leg.  I couldn’t believe this happened, but our team remained calm and came together.  We will miss Abby as well as Cat and Leslie.  This game was the last game I have to wear my wonderful mask.  We are going to go to China and come together and fight hard to get that Gold medal.  We are all looking forward to leaving for the Olympics.  We leave on July 22.

Today we beat Brazil 1-0.  It was extremely hot and we were not used to the elevation factor, but it was fun to play in.  I was happy to get another 90 min game under my belt before the Olympics.  We had some good moments during the course of the game which are really helping build our confidence before we leave for China.
