What an amazing finish to our Olympic Qualifying CONCACAF tournament. We beat Canada in PKs after playing 120 minutes of soccer to be crowned CONCACAF champions. I was finally able to score off a free kick and boy did it feel awesome. I celebrated big time after that goal. It was a great feeling to score a goal like that at a perfect moment. It was a great game of soccer. I am finally home after a tough three weeks on the road. I will be training at Universal Soccer Academy working on upper body strength, free kicks and much more. I am looking forward to a few days of rest and then starting back up again. The team meets again on April 22nd in Cary, NC.

We have officially qualified for the Olympics! We are Beijing Bound!! We beat Costa Rica 3-0. It was a very close game in the first half. It was 0-0 at halftime which was making me a little nervous, but I knew we would eventually score. The game conditions were very interesting. It was incredibly windy and sand was blowing all over the place. If we were able to wear sunglasses I am sure we would have all worn them. It was really bad. I am just so happy to have qualified for the Olympics. We have one more game against Canada on April 12th.

Today was a hard fought battle against Mexico. With a sell out crowd of 22,000 people, a hot day, we managed to win 3-1. It was a very exciting game and the atmosphere made it an unforgettable experience. I played the whole 90 minute game and I was exhausted after the game but really happy with out teams victory. Next up we face Costa Rica on April 9th. We need to win this game to qualify for the Olympics.

The game tonight went well. We beat Jamaica 6-0. I played the first 45 minutes and scored the first goal of the game. It was a different game and I had to adjust my game a bit. I had to make a lot of runs behind the back line because they were pulling an offside trap. I enjoyed playing. It was a great night to play soccer. We face Mexico on April 6.

We finished our camp in LA at the Home Depot Center and departed forJuarez, Mexico today. Our camp started on March 21st. We had a tough week of training but it was all great. Our focus was on fitness, attack, and team defending. We scrimmaged a Under 16 Boys team and we played amazing. It was the best side of soccer I have seen in a while. We won 4-3.
